No Slice, Dice Or Cook Easy BBQ Sauce
I often wonder why so many people buy barbecue sauce in a bottle when it is so easy to make BBQ sauce!
This one is simple, requires no slicing, dicing or chopping and can be put together in a flash using ingredients that you probably already have in your home.
Easy BBQ Sauce Recipe
2 cups ketchup
1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp dry mustard
2 Tbs fresh lemon juice
2 Tbs Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
2 Tbs molasses
Just mix and store!
Make up a double batch and put it in a bottle in your fridge and it will keep all summer! When you want to use it, just pour it on the meat and toss or enhance it with added ingredients each time you use it. This BBQ sauce recipe is great for pulled meat barbecues or grilling!
The one pictured here on the top shelf of my refrigerator has some fresh basil added to the base BBQ sauce recipe. Try some diced pineapple, or pesto for something different, or just be creative!
It is tough to find BBQ sauce in the grocery store that does not have high fructose corn syrup in it, so why not make your own? You can control the sugar content based on your needs.
