From there it is not as complicated as you may think.

The only real difference in cooking a pizza on the grill vs in the oven is the size of the pizza.

This homemade pizza crust recipe makes 3 medium to large pizzas. So for grilled pizza you need to cut each one of those balls in half for a personal-sized pizza (even if you plan to eat the whole thing.)

How To Make Grilled Pizza

  1. Heat your grill to a medium low setting.
  2. Drizzle your pizza dough with olive oil, then while standing at the grill stretch the raw dough and lay it on the hot grill grids.

#1: Sliced heirloom tomatoes (juiced), fresh mozzarella, cheddar cheese, salt, pepper, oil, basil, oregano (Top Right)

#2: Tomato sauce, chorizo sausage (cooked), cheddar and mozzarella cheese, crushed red pepper flakes, oregano, caramelized onions, shaved fennel (Top Left)

#3: Tomato sauce, Cheddar, mozzarella cheese and Parmesan, fresh basil and oregano, black olives (Below)
